COVID-19 GUIDELINES

OPERATING GUIDELINES

As a public venue, the health and safety of our guests and staff remain our top priority. We are taking the necessary preventative steps as provided by the CDC, state and local authorities to reduce the spread and impact of the virus. See our plan here.

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

Following the expiration of the Monroe County mask mandate, Monroe Convention Center will no longer require masking at events, although all patrons are welcome to wear masks.

We do not require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test, but we will regularly be reevaluating all measures necessary to keep everyone safe and healthy during this very unpredictable time. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we all navigate these ever-evolving circumstances.

SAFETY MEASURES

We have increased housekeeping measures to include more frequent disinfection, especially in high volume areas: entrances/exits, escalator, elevator, restrooms, and water fountains. We have a high alcohol content germ gel located throughout the building.

Please help us by sharing the health guidelines already in place for effective protection against viral infections—wash your hands frequently and for at least 20 seconds each time, wear masks, cover your cough, do not touch your face, and stay home if you are sick to avoid infecting others.

GROUP SIZES

In keeping with current guidelines for social distancing, we are currently closed to the public for groups over 100 people (this may increase or decrease in the future). Many of our events have been rescheduled for summer 2021 and beyond, and we are working with organizations as they are ready to reschedule. Our hours of operation are currently reduced, but we are monitoring and responding to all inquiries. Please contact us for any reason: info@bloomingtonconvention.com
