Let us know what you would like to see at the new Convention Center:
COVID 19 (novel coronavirus)

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is responding to an outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a coronavirus. The virus has been detected in numerous locations internationally, including Indiana in the United States.
As Indiana works together to determine the most effective methods to control and prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Monroe Convention Center is working with IU Health, Monroe County Health Department, and the Indiana State Department of Health to make sure we are doing everything possible to keep our staff and guests safe.
We have increased housekeeping measures to include more frequent disinfection, especially in high volume areas: entrances/exits, escalator, elevator, restrooms, and water fountains. We have high alcohol content germ gel located throughout the building.
In keeping with current guidelines for social distancing, we are currently closed to the public for groups over 10 people (this could be reduced in the future). Many of our events have been rescheduled for summer 2020 and beyond, and we are working with organizations as they are ready to reschedule. Our hours of operation are currently reduced, but we are monitoring and responding to all inquiries. Please contact us for any reason: info@bloomingtonconvention.com.
Please help us by sharing the health guidelines already in place for effective protection against viral infections—wash your hands frequently and for at least 20 seconds each time, cover your cough, do not touch your face, and stay home if you are sick to avoid infecting others.
